Our intentions create our reality; when we change our intentions towards being productive and creative while being at home the reality will be something different.

The pandemic has fixed us to our home seats and we must learn to look at the bigger picture now where many have lost their jobs many have got jobs from home. Yet, everyone has their own challenges. It’s time to reshape the world by accepting and understanding the outside world. We are facing a lot of hurdles while working from home. Nagging behaviors start occurring which are hard to avoid. This makes it impossible to wrap up our daily creative and productive tasks. here’s the list of how to stay productive and creative being at home.

1. Unlock some self-care

Follow your normal routine

Working from home makes us slothful people wear their pajamas the whole day sitting on the bed which gives them a comfy feeling that invites the sleep not productivity. instead, you must follow your daily routine like getting up early, taking bath getting dressed for the office, taking a cup of coffee, and then starting working.

This is the ideal routine to increase your productivity and creativity while being at home.

Exercise

At least 10 min exercise or yoga is mandatory for good emotional, psychological and physical wellbeing. Physical exercise helps reduce the feeling of stress, depression and better your mood. Attend a yoga class or go for a walk outside. Ride a bicycle or do some basic exercise at home.

Breathing exercises also help in refreshment, just paying attention to your breath works as a nerve relaxer.

Numerous studies have shown the impacts of positive attitude over productivity as it affects on brain and body.

Incorporate the atmosphere with positivity. A positive outlook may help you find the balance between positive and negative emotions. It never means you always need to feel positive you can feel sad and can be angry too but don’t let these emotions take over you.

Worrying too much about the future and feeling sad about the past never helps. Just try to hold on to positive emotions.

Humans are prevalent to overlook the good things in life. Being thankful for the good things in your life helps you bring in the good things existing in your life. Make a habit of writing down a gratitude journal every day about the things you are grateful for.

This will help you look at your life from a different angle. if you are experiencing a nerve-racking life you can disregard the good things in your life but practicing gratitude can help you acknowledge them.

Lack of quality sleep can make you annoying, angry, and even depressed. Make sure to have a sound sleep schedule daily. 

Studies show that people sleeping on average 7 to 8 hours per night performed better cognitively than those who slept less. Sleep is so important for our health.

Listen to music

Music is the best rejuvenator for your mood. You get immersed in the current moment when listening to your favorite song. You forget about past regrets and future worries.

Music is termed as a healer to improve physical and emotional health and wellbeing. Music is believed to cure all mental disorders. Research says that music has several health benefits like boosting the immune, lowering stress levels, decreasing anxiety, and depression, reducing blood pressure, and so on.

Meditation

Meditation helps to rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul. Meditation is beneficial to boost the productivity and creativity of employees when being consistent. 

Meditation affects the brain as it regulates mood swings, decreases depression, controls anxiety, works as a stress reducer.

Create some hobbies

Some people love to dance some of them love cooking and some are fond of traveling to new places. Doing what makes you happy is nothing better than a wish come true. Playing guitar, reading a novel, or doing a puzzle is a simple hobby that you create for the short term.

For example, if you are a writer and you have a hobby of browsing the internet and reading a lot of stuff online is a working hobby for you.
